Hasbro Philanthropy

Philanthropy is defined by the Merriam Webster as,
1 : goodwill to fellow members of the human race; especially active effort to promote human welfare
2 : an act or gift done or made for humanitarian purposes
3 : an organization distributing or supported by funds set aside for humanitarian purposes
Mission and history: "Our mission is stand up for children, passionately working together to create a universe where every child experiences hope, kindness and joy." This program is called "Be Fearless, Be Kind", and I believe that the website gives great examples of what they are striving for. From what I understood, this initiative is encouraging youth to be inclusive and to be kind to everyone and I believe this is much needed in our society today. I could not find any information on the history of the Hasbro philanthropy such as when it was founded and by who.
Local Community Grants: "In the locations where Hasbro has operating facilities we annually provide local community grants which support programs that deliver; stability for children in crisis; pediatric physical and mental health services; hunger security; educational programs; quality out of school time programming; programs that empower youth through service and programs that develop social-emotional learning in children."
Their Partners: "Be Fearless, Be Kind" has many partners that align with their mission and what it strives to do for young people. Together they will help to impact the lives of youth across the country and teaching them to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. Some partners include "Youth Service America", "No Bully", "Creative Visions" and four others.
Volunteer Grant Program: This program encourages people in the community to find a love and a meaning for service. Giving back to the community by volunteering is rewarding for both the volunteer and the people or organizations that are receiving the time of someone else.
